It's World Smile Day today.
I enjoy smiling as must as the next hamster, but it always helps if I get an extra special treat in my bowl...
I actually smiled quite a lot last night when I discovered a portion of fresh corn on the cob had been laid out for me. The dried stuff is great, but...Wow!...the fresh kernels are just delicious. I was glad the humans didn't disturb me during my waking hours as I had to gnaw my treat in situ. I'm a strong boy, but even I couldn't haul part of a corn cob down the ramp to my den.
At least I haven't got to worry about Everton playing...that might have prevented me smiling...a lot.. Thank goodness for World Cup qualifiers. No Premier League matches this week.
