We've had quite a few birthdays in my family recently. I think my humans have had far too much cake! And I've had my sleep disturbed by the rustling of wrapping paper...and worse. They insist on trying to sing 'Happy Birthday', but really shouldn't. Yesterday, one gift turned out to be very noisy. I appreciate that polishing stones requires a bit of effort and noise, but not in my room...please!
I hardly dare think about today's Everton match. They're facing Burnley.
I suppose a bit of optimism is in order as Everton must realise that changes are required. They've altered the team that lost midweek. Wayne Rooney is only a sub! But Dominic Calvert Lewin, Nikola Vlasic and Oumar Niasse are playing. My paws are crossed for a good result.
