It's the day for doing it and no one should complain.
I have to admit that I like technology...not as much as I like snacks and treats, but gadgets are high on the list of things I enjoy. And I don't like to conform to hamster norms. What is it with hamsters liking to run on exercise wheels? That's not for me! But I do have my little obsessions...when I get to know you better I might share them with you. Who knows, you might like them too and we can be geeks together...
On Embrace Your Geekness Day, it's time to celebrate everything that sets you apart.
Be proud that you can recite the scripts of every Star Wars film word for word. Get out your costumes and battle for the Empire...even if you are a little short for a storm trooper...Or simply turn to your nearest and dearest and wax lyrical about the properties of cement. It's your day, they'll have to indulge you.
Forgive me if I ignore you. I'm going to settle down with my Warehouse 13 box set and memorise all the artifacts that are stored in there.
