History tells me to worry.
OK, so it hasn't got quite the same ring to it as "Beware the ides of March", but there's still good reason to be a bit wary about the 22nd August.
In the past, it has been a day of battle and turmoil in England.
In 1485, the Battle of Bosworth Field took place. Henry Tudor's forces defeated the English King Richard III during last battle in the Wars of the Roses.
in 1642, The English Civil War began between King Charles I's "Cavaliers" and the Parliamentary "Roundheads".
At least I haven't got to worry about turmoil in my house today. My little humans have gone travelling again. They said they were going to explore whales...rather them than me...it sounds a bit wet and smelly...
