My countdown to June has started.
Are you wondering why June is special? It's not that I'm looking forward to Wimbledon or endless cricket matches...yawn... No. I'm looking forward to 30 Days Wild. Those nice folks in the Wildlife Trusts around the country are encouraging everyone to get closer to nature and indulge in some random acts of wildness.
Blackpool can seem pretty wild in the tourist season or as the storms lash in from the coast in winter. But it's hard to associate the place with wild nature. Still, we're going to try...and I can hardly wait.
