Cupcake? Babe? Or Rex?
We’ve enjoyed all of Janet Evanovich’s novels in this house, especially the Stephanie Plum bounty hunter books. Some of us are undecided whether we favour Morelli or Ranger. But I think that Stephanie should just focus on the man in her life who’s always there for her. Yes, you’ve guessed it - the oldest hamster in history – Rex. He’s got it made. He’s left to his own devices for most of the time and gets passed some interesting snacks. OK, maybe pizza crust and chips aren’t the most appropriate treats, but they’re obviously boosting his longevity. If it wasn’t for him living in an old soup can, I’d swap places with him.
Thinking about it, I mightn't make good use of his wheel either. I have got a great big wheel in my cage, but I have lost interest in it as an exercise option. Makes an interesting rotating urinal though.
Do you remember that I was all set to embrace Dilbert as my favourite cartoonist? Well, that was before I spotted another of his cartoons which suggests that he thinks we’re stupid.
