I'm not convinced I'm the only hamster in the house. I mean, I'm sure that humans are awake all day and sleep all night. But last night I wasn't the only creature awake in the house...
It was night time, definitely.
I'd been up and about for a few hours. It was dark and it was quiet... well, except for me racing along on my exercise wheel. Then I spotted a dark shape in the chair next to my cage that hadn't been there moments before. I'll admit that it was the shape of a human, but it was the middle of the night. It didn't seem to have much fur, but it certainly wasn't sleeping.
I'm now very confused. Are there such things as human hamsters?
I'll put up with whatever nocturnal creature it is provided that it never wants to share my cage!
