Details of two of the memorials are given below.

A First World War Memorial Plaque for Raikes Parade Wesleyan Methodist Church bears the inscription: β€˜To the glory of God and sacred to the memory of the members of this church and congregation who laid down their lives in the Great War 1914-1918’.

The names of the fallen are listed as follows: George W Hargreaves, John Barrett, Alfred Coles, Arthur M Cross, Duncan Clark, Joseph Dewhurst, Ben Howarth, Albert Lord, Frank Morris, Joseph Riding, Ben Riley, Arthur Sykes, Harry Sykes.

First World War bronze memorial plaque

A Second World War Memorial Plaque bears the heading: β€˜1939-1945’ and lists the following names in white lettering: A Victor Booth, A T Cuthbert Bromwich, Robert A Stansfield.
