Title: Theatrical tours and a cuppa for a good cause
Blackpool's historic Winter Gardens opens its doors to tours to help raise money for North Shore Methodist Church.
On Tuesday July 5 residents and visitors will be invited to tour the entertainment complex and enjoy a coffee morning to raise funds for the local church’s mission work to create better facilities for young people.
Tickets for tours and a cuppa are £5 and available from the venue’s box office or the church on Dickson Road.
Winter Gardens Managing Director Michael Williams says: ‘Anyone taking part in this great event will get to meet and hear from the real Winter Gardens experts who will guide them around this wonderful venue and explain all about its incredible history. To enjoy this tour while raising money for a fantastic cause is a great opportunity and we hope it’s a tremendous success.’
Rev Sally Coleman of North Shore Methodist Church adds: ‘It’s a brilliant way for us to raise money. Our mission is to help people in the community whose lives are not always that easy and therefore we are very grateful that the Winter Gardens is able to help in such a positive way.’
