Sirs – The Marton Methodist Chapel, founded at Blowing Sands and moved to Marton Moss Side in 1872, will celebrate its centenary in 1947.
It is proposed to issue a pamphlet giving a short history of the chapel. May I ask your readers who can supply information of the early days of Methodism in Marton and district? Permission to view original documents will be appreciated. It will also help if any reader can indicate references in published works to Methodism in Marton.
