1883 newspaper cutting about anniversary services

Wesleyan Anniversary Services – The anniversary services in connection with the Wesleyan Sunday School [were] held at the Wesleyan Chapel Blackpool, on Sunday last. The Rev. E Oldfield, formerly of the Blackpool circuit, but now of Leigh, preached both morning and evening. A service of song was given in the afternoon, and an address delivered to the scholars of the school by Mr Allsopp, of the Boys’ Refuge, Manchester. The amount realised by the collections on behalf of the schools was over £21.
