1886 newspaper cutting about a new Methodist chapel for Blackpool

In contemplation of a new chapel, which this connexion now deems a necessity, a number of the more prominent members met on Monday evening at the home of Mr Moss, Adelaide Street, and decided to commence a sewing meeting to be held fortnightly as a nucleus by way of raising funds for the above purpose. A working committee was formed consisting of Mrs Royse, Mrs Jackson, Mrs Gosling, Mrs Harabin and Miss Coop, with Miss Clayton, of Whitegate Lane, as secretary, and Mrs Johnson, as treasurer.
